Teen Patti Master Hand Rankings Explained with Examples
By the TPMasterClub team · 2026-10-12 · 5 min read

Every decision in Teen Patti depends on knowing how strong your three cards are. This guide covers each hand from strongest to weakest.
1. Trail
Three cards of the same rank, such as 7-7-7. Between two Trails, the higher rank wins, so A-A-A beats K-K-K.
2. Pure Sequence
Three consecutive cards of the same suit. A-K-Q of one suit is the best, followed by A-2-3 of one suit.
3. Sequence
Three consecutive cards in any suits. The ordering is the same as for a Pure Sequence.
4. Color
Three cards of the same suit that are not consecutive. Compare the highest card, then the second, then the third.
5. Pair
Two cards of one rank. A higher pair wins; if both pairs match, the odd card decides.
6. High Card
No combination at all. Compare the highest card first and continue down if needed.
Quick tip
Keep the order Trail → Pure Sequence → Sequence → Color → Pair → High Card in mind. Notice that a Sequence beats a Color in Teen Patti, which is the opposite of poker.
