How to Play Teen Patti Master: A Beginner's Walkthrough

The easiest way to learn Teen Patti Master is to follow a single round from start to finish. Once you have seen one, every other round looks familiar. So let's sit down at a table together.

Before the cards are dealt

Every player puts in a small fixed amount called the boot. This builds the pot that everyone is playing for. On most tables the boot is collected automatically, so you won't have to do anything here.

Your three cards arrive

You get three cards face down. At this point you have a choice: look at them, or keep playing without looking. Playing without looking is called playing blind. Looking makes you a seen player.

There is no right answer here. Blind players pay less on each turn, but they are guessing. Seen players pay more, but they know what they are holding.

Taking your turn

When your turn comes, you will usually see three main buttons. Chaal means you stay in and add your bet to the pot. Pack means you fold and leave the round. Show appears only when two players are left.

If you are a seen player, you might also see Side Show. This lets you privately compare cards with the seen player before you. Whoever has the weaker hand has to pack.

The show

A few things beginners often miss

Turns are timed. If you don't act in time, the app usually packs your hand for you, so stay focused once a round starts.

You don't have to play every hand. Packing early with weak cards is normal and sensible.
